2008 Fantasy Baseball Prospects

Listed below is the Sport Fanatics top 30 fantasy baseball rookie prospects for the 2008 season. We see these players as having the best fantasy seasons for the upcoming year. To make the rankings, the player must have less than 130 major league at bats or less than 50 innings pitched. These rankings are for fantasy baseball purposes only, they are not intended to measuring how good of a MLB player the person could turn out to be in the future, but geared more towards the 2008 fantasy baseball season.

Some players like Justin Upton, Adam Jones, Asdrubal Cabrera and Kevin Slowey fell just over the 130 AB or 50 IP threshold and are no longer considered "rookies". If they had not reached the AB or IP threshold they would have been on the list below. Also, we did not include any of the 30+ year old players that came over from Japan during the offseason because at this point they are really not prospects.
