Index: XPA=Extra Points Attempted, XP= Extra Points Made, FGA=Total Field Goals Attempted, FG=Total Field Goals Made

Fantasy Points to determine the rankings are based on the following:

3 fantasy points for every field goal made between 1-39 yards, 4 fantasy points for every field goal made between 40-49 yards, 5 fantasy points for every field goal made 50+ yards and 1 fantasy point for every extra point made.

TIER Column:

1 – Fantasy Studs: The very best fantasy player(s) at their position.

2 – Very Good Fantasy Starters: Notch below the fantasy studs, but are capable of putting up good fantasy stats on a consistent basis.

3 – Solid Fantasy Starters: Players who are starters on their NFL team and produce solid fantasy stats on a fairly consistent and may have the occasional “Big Game”.

4 – Fringe Fantasy Starters / Very Good Fantasy Backups: Borderline fantasy starters who may or may not be worthy fantasy starters depending on their weekly match ups. “Big Games” are infrequent.

5 – Solid Fantasy Backups: These are players who see significant playing time on their NFL team, but produce inconsistent fantasy stats and are generally fantasy backups in most fantasy league formats.

6 – Fringe Fantasy Backups: These are players who get playing time on their NFL team but are marginal fantasy stat contributors or who are in a battle to retain their playing time.

7 – Handcuff Players or Low Producing Starters: These are players who if given the chance because of injuries/suspensions to starters may be able to produce quality fantasy stats or are current starters who generally produce poor fantasy stats.

8 – Youngsters and Solid Veterans: This group of players is made up of young players with potential and or veterans who could see a modest increase in their fantasy value if the starters are injured/suspended. Usually later round picks.

9 – Desperation: These players are usually drafted very late, if at all.

TEAM Column: If team is highlighted in aqua and shows "ZFA", that player is a free agent. If team is highlighted in red, that player has changed teams during the offseason to the team listed. If team is highlighted in green, that player is a rookie.

COM/CHANGE Column: This is any significant comment and/or change in player rankings.

U - Ranking went up (is better) from previous rankings on our site.

D - Ranking went down (is worse) from previous rankings on our site.

I - Dealing with an injury or is injury prone.

S - Suspension

HO - Contract hold out.

2006 RANK: This is the rankings achieved by the player based on 2006 NFL statistics. "N/R" means not ranked either because they are a rookie this season or played very little in the NFL last season.
